The long weekend
I'm so happy because I didn't have to go to school on Monday, and get to spend time playing at home.
But first, on Saturday, mummy said we had to bake. Because she thought of the Show & Tell which I have to do on Wednesday - "A Special Activity With My Family"
She took a lot of photos. I had fun doing the cookies.

Here I am measuring the dough of each cookie.
Sunday - 9th August
I kept asking daddy to bring me to watch the fireworks. After some time, daddy agreed.
We went to Marina Square, first stopping in Sakae Sushi for lunch. We wanted to watch Up but the seats left were very close to the screen so we didn't watch. Walked around a little, we passed by a door which mummy explained it's for those with tickets for the Parade to enter. I thought we had tickets?? No?? that's what I meant daddy!! I want to watch the Parade inside! Then we tried to look for place to sit in the open area. It was too hot and crowded, we left and headed towards the foodcourt.
We had our dinner while waiting, I didn't eat much because I am really excited. I can't wait to see the fireworks but mummy says I have to wait coz' the fireworks only displays in the night.
Some photos :

I am so happy to see the Parade closer. Will we do it again next year? I don't know...Monday
It's play play play. Mummy's too busy to give us lessons.Sob... sob....the school reopens tomorrow

National Day Celebration
We wore home clothes today, in Red and/or white.
I have a Red shirt which says NEW ZEALAND (and mummy say I can't wear that for SINGAPORE's National Day celebration. Then another shirt, Elmo. I'll feel so embarrassed wearing that to school.
The next thing that mummy found was this dress. It was a white dress with red flowery patterns on it.
Okay mummy, I'll wear this.

Off to school............
In the library, C saw me first. C is mummy's secondary school classmate's daughter. We played in the library together with another girl from another class. The 3 of us are in different classes.
I have many friends from other classes. I enjoy school so much.

小小羊儿要回家
For the past few days I have been practising this song because I am one of the 10 children selected in my class to sing.
Needless to say I drive mummy up the wall but I have a better excuse this time for singing out loud and ahem.. a little out of tune.

I love eclairs!
Mummy loves me alot. She always makes things that I love to eat. She's been wanting to make me eclairs but she never got the chance to do it until now -which is many many months late to her promise. But oh well, better to be late than never.
Shall I tell you the recipe for this? This is what mummy read out loud :
"125g milk, 125g water, Athena stop touching that!, 115g unsalted butter, Athena?!, ¼ teaspoon sugar, Athena how many times do I have to tell you to stop playing with the flour?, ¼ teaspoon salt, Athena STOP IT! That's it you're going OUT OF THE KITCHEN!"
And so I waited for my eclairs, with me bugging me if the eclairs are ready. I'm sure I saw mummy frown at me. Because I can't wait mummy! I always love what mummy make.
Here are some photos of me indulging in eclairs. Ehh............that was after I was KICKED out of the kitchen.
Mummy let me decorate my eclairs. I happily threw in so many quins and mummy had to stop me, too much sugar is not good for me.

Racial Harmony Day
We celebrated Racial Harmony Day late in school, it was suppose to be on Tuesday.
I told mummy I wanted to wear my Yukata. I dressed up looking like a Japanese girl coz' it came with the wooden sandals too!
I was really tired at the end of the day, good thing I wore home clothes inside my Yukata. I took out my Yukata but I was in home shorts. ????? It's a good thing Ms R didn't punish me for being so slack.
