I did very well in class today

Today, I did very well in my music lesson. Well, I had to do so because mummy said she is going to beat my backside if I don't, and she will not buy me my dough for my Playdoh. I remembered how much she screamed at me two nights before (25th) when she gave me music revision. And oh yes! That CANE. Did I tell you she actually broke the cane a long time ago when she tried to frightened me by hitting on the table? Wow! If she can break that, I think she can break my legs. I'd better listen to her. After my class, she decided to reward me with a colour colour. I always look forward to the time when the auntie pass me my work. As you can see in these pictures, I was standing near to the oven. And this time, the aunty gave the Rabbit sweets. She gave me two (strange? She normally only give one. Maybe because mummy spoke to her about the sweets the week before)

"I really enjoyed myself today"

Today I went with mummy to Dr Teoh's clinic. And then she let me play toys for about an hour or so. I spent the rests of the time sleeping. This is me in ELC, in the last picture I exclaimed to mummy about the dinosaurs behind me.
Here I am in ToysRUs. I met this little girl, Victoria and we were playing in the house. Mummy's the big bad wolf knocking at our door.

We left after some time, not after we stopped by the supermarket to buy me my carrot juice.
Did I mention to you that I like Carrot juice? Mummy says she is going to make for me, but I have a feeling it's going to taste awful.

**Carrot Juice: A most unique fruit and vegetable juice beverage, consisting of Carrot, Apple and Orange juices. **

Didn't do well in class today

Mummy said I didn't do well in class today. She also said that I've deliberately not follow what Teacher Peggy asked us to do when playing the tambourine. Needless to say, when the class ended I turned and told mummy "mummy I did very well in class today" (hoping that she'll say yes and I can get to do my colour colour) but she said "no you didn't do well today."

I know she really means it. And I could not argue with her and was quite sad..

Presenting...........Dr Athena Ting

Dua-gu brought me to ToysRUs in the evening. And he bought me a Doctor's Kit..

I came home and was a doctor to everyone, poking thermometer under everyone's armpit; ear, giving injections, using a hammer to knock on knees; giving medication.

Mummy called me at 9 plus and asked what I was doing. I told her I have a new toy and later added to her "mummy I want to be a doctor" Mummy said "good! I'd want you to be a professional too!"

Umm.... got prospects to be a doctor.

How I spent my Easter Sunday

Mummy hid some eggs in our living room, for we have no garden here.

What fun it is, for it's my first time hunting for eggs -- I mean chocolate eggs. Actually I dunno what's the fuss about finding them but I remember the big Kinder Surprise eggs bought from the supermarket a few days back (I am eyeing on that)

Counting the eggs

Eating the eggs

We got ready to go out. I wanted to go somewhere further away and suggested TMall. This is me fooling around while waiting for papa to finish his shower

Easter Sunday-what's the thing about the eggs??

Easter eggs, also known as Spring eggs in the United States, are specially decorated eggs given out to celebrate the Easter holiday or springtime. The oldest tradition is to use dyed and painted chicken eggs, but a modern custom is to substitute eggs made from chocolate, or plastic eggs filled with candy such as jellybeans.

Candy Easter eggs can be any form of confectionery such as hollow chocolate eggs wrapped in brightly-colored foil. Some are delicately constructed of spun sugar and pastry decoration techniques. The ubiquitous jelly egg or jellybean is made from sugar-coated pectin candy. These are often hidden, supposedly by the Easter Bunny, for children to find on Easter morning.

Decorated eggs are much older than Easter, and both eggs and rabbits are age-old fertility symbols. The Passover Seder service uses a hard-cooked egg flavored with salt water as a symbol both of new life and the Temple service in Jerusalem. The Jewish tradition may have come from earlier Roman Spring feasts.

Easter egg origin stories abound—one has an emperor claiming that the Resurrection was as likely as eggs turning red (see Mary Magdalene); more prosaically the Easter egg tradition may have celebrated the end of the privations of Lent. In the West, eggs were seen as "meat", which would have been forbidden during Lent. Likewise, in Eastern Christianity, both meat and dairy were prohibited during the fast, and eggs were seen as "dairy" (a foodstuff that could be taken from an animal without shedding its blood). One would have been forced to hard boil the eggs that the chickens produced so as not to waste food, and for this reason the Spanish dish hornazo (traditionally eaten on and around Easter) contains hard-boiled eggs as a primary ingredient.

Easter eggs are a widely popular symbol of new life in Poland and other Slavic countries' folk traditions. A batik-like decorating process known as pisanka produces intricate, brilliantly-colored eggs. The celebrated Fabergé workshops created exquisite jewelled Easter eggs for the Russian Imperial Court. A 27-foot (9 m) sculpture of a pisanka stands in Vegreville, Alberta.

There are many other decoration techniques and numerous traditions of giving them as a token of friendship, love or good wishes. A tradition exists in some parts of Britain (such as Scotland) of rolling painted eggs down steep hills on Easter Sunday. In the U.S., such an Easter egg roll (unrelated to an eggroll) is often done on flat ground, pushed along with a spoon; the Easter Egg Roll has become a much-loved annual event on the White House lawn. An Easter egg hunt is a common festive activity, where eggs are hidden outdoors (or indoors if in bad weather) for children to run around and find. This may also be a contest to see who can collect the most eggs.

My Easter basket

I helped mummy with this basket. Not much but at least I did help her out.

I wonder what it is for. She says she is going to let me find eggs on Sunday. I want to tell her I can find many eggs in the fridge

Some fine entertainment from me.

My class today

Mummy took these while waiting for our other little friends.

This is Raoul, Elizabeth (extremely shy) and me

Today, Teacher commented that I can dance very well - because I always love to sway my body even when I'm just singing. All the other friends will just sit still and sing. Then she asked mummy if she herself is a good dancer. Mummy said "No, I'm not a good dancer but I was a party queen..." I wonder what's that but Teacher Peggy laughed at that remark.

Before the lesson ended, Teacher Peggy handed out a piece of paper to all the mummies informing them about the next level - Music Wonderland. Mummy thought of skipping this and go on to Yamaha Junior Course, but then it means that I have to start only when I'm 4 in December and between July to November, it may be too long a break. In the end, she signed me up for Music Wonderland, which falls on every Thursdays at the same timing and follows Teacher Peggy again. I heard that for that we get to play some keys on the Electone Organ.

These are the books required.

Things I have been doing these days

Although I've been missing school for 2 weeks now. Mummy's been trying to keep me busy with art & crafts, reading and studying.
No wonder mummy's white flag is raised up now. She's too tired. Whenever she's not busy with me, she either doing the housework or doing her own work.
It's back to school for me on coming Monday or Tuesday.

Video of me dressing up

Mummy brought out the camera and took this.

It's been some time since mummy videotaped me.

I love it..... when I'm not in school

At CoffeeBean with my new sunglasses
Fooling around in my bed with my babies

I simply love it when I'm not in school. I get to watch my videos which although is driving mummy crazy (as I keep repeating the show over and over again)but at least she gets to do her things.
Today, mummy had to see Dr Teoh and brought me along with her. As we were quite early, we stopped by at McDonalds for a breakkie. I had my nuggets,a little fries and my toy.
At Dr Teoh's, we waited for an hour. Some people are late for their appointment and is making mummy; the early one to wait. We went for our lunch at Lucky Plaza, mummy's craving for Nasi Lemak. I had my kuay teow.. yum yum.
We walked around Takashimaya, heading to the Children's Department immediately. Mummy needs to get me a water bottle but in the end, she never bought any for me. Instead, she bought me a new nice nice sunglasses, toothpaste and a drink. She needed to get herself a maternity pants and I get to play in the changing room. It's so fun!!
We went to Coffee Bean for my cheesecake and a drink. Err.........I only drank my own plain water okay?? Mummy got herself a nice drink, she refused to let me drink.
When it's close to 4pm, mummy made her way towards the train station as she do not want to get into crowded trains. I fell asleep almost immediately all the way till Punggol.
Then mummy was walking back when she bumped into Aunty Alyse. Although she put the umbrella to cover me, I should have told her I was feeling hot. The two women actually stood under the sun and chatted for a good whole 15 minutes. I almost died of heat!
Back home, we rested awhile before we took a nice shower.
What a day!

My weekends

Yesterday, papa decided to bring me out gai-gai. I think daddy was heading towards Suntec via CTE, when mummy told him about the recent article on the "how to evade paying another ERP through Cathy". Papa was quite blur and didn't know that there's another gantry near Rendevous Hotel, then he decided not to go in and pay twice. Instead he also made a turn into Handy Road.
He parked at the Cathy Carpark and we checked out the nice new building. No shops there at the moment except for the Cinemas. But we were all hungry, we needed to have our lunch. Papa brought us to this place at Selegie Road, where they serve nice Chicken Rice 星和海南鸡fan(4). It is really nice. I like the black black sauce, just like mummy. We then went back to the Cinemas to check out the movies. We were there at 3pm and thankfully there's Ice Age 2 showing at 3.20pm. We wasted no time in getting the tickets. I'm a big girl now, I need to buy ticket too! Then as usual, I want my popcorn.
Strange?? Why is the bag so small?? I remember it used to be a big pack with popcorns on the top, now mummy passed me a folded bag. Umm..... We sat down to wait for the time to pass by.

It was a nice and funny show. We walked around Plaza Singapura before we had our dinner and headed home. I am so tired.. I slept like a little pig.

SUNDAY
Mummy and papa brought me to see the Chinese sinseh again. Then dua-gu called to ask if we wanted to go for Tim Sum together. The place is packed and mummy overheard some dishes are sold out, so she called dua-gu and asked to go another place. We went to Soup Restaurant, had our lunch and mummy/papa had to bring me home. I haven't had my nap yet, most importantly from morning till now I haven't had my shower. Yee... smelly smelly.

Little Grey Riding Hood -On my way to grandma's house

♪♫ I'm on my way to grandma's house, ♪♫ grandma's house, grandma's house.♪♫
♪♫ I'm on my way to grandma's house with all these barangs....♭♯

Things I made for grandma, grandpa, dua-gu& dua-kim and ah-yi.

What I'm crazy about now.

I'm home bound for the last week. Time being, I'm having a whale of a good time at home; taunting mummy - did I see her banging her head against the wall?

I've got tons of VCDs to watch. But what I'm crazy about lately is my Richard Scarry's collections which is driving mummy crazy. And guess what she did? She let me play with my LeapPad putting the Richard Scarry's vocabulary book in it.

I am so happy, 弟弟 talked to me

Yesterday, 弟弟 talked to me for the first time. I heard him make funny sound.

I don't understand why mummy was laughing at me. Maybe she's jealous that 弟弟 didn't talk to her.
