Last day of rest day before school starts tomorrow

Today's the 3rd day of CNY and it's our rest day. But anyway daddy brought us to Tampines Mall, hoping to bring me for a movie.
Eerr............how come the 2 adults never thought of booking tickets huh? The queue was long and tickets selling out fast so instead we walked around.Anyway I fell asleep in the pram and when I woke up mummy and daddy were walking towards the car. I started crying and told them that I wanted to go gai-gai. It didn't help and I continued my whining.
At home daddy and mummy took a nap. And I was so lonely playing by myself. The loneliness was short-lived, mummy told me that ma-ma, ye-ye, dua-gu and dua-kim are coming by later on.
I was very happy when they came by. And I showed off my room to them "come, dua-gu come and see my room."
They left at 10plus but I started crying for ma-ma. So in the end, ma-ma came over and stayed overnight. We slept in my room, with ma-ma sleeping on the mattress.
Daddy is not working so I think I will not be going to school tomorrow.

Surprise visit from Aunty Kum Foong

Wanxin che-che & me
Aunty Kum Foong, Wanxin & Huixin che-che

When Aunty Kum Foong left, mummy was busy in the kitchen tidying up. I was left unsupervised for a good 5 minutes where I helped myself to the goodies.
Aunty Kum Foong dropped by to "pai nian". Infact mummy did tell me when we were having lunch that Aunty Kum Foong called and will be coming with Huixin and Wanxin che-che. I was so happy and refused to take a nap.. But I was so tired and fell asleep soon.
At 4+pm they came by. I was so quiet and didn't want to talk to anyone. But after some time I'm alright and Wanxin followed me to my room where we played building blocks, train and playdoh.
They left at 6+pm. I'm so sad..........but mummy promised me that they will come by and play with me on Sundays after their church service.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

My cousins & me

Ai yoh...........so painful

I'm like a VIP today, because of me.. Aunty Aveliane & family and Aunty Jasline & family stayed a little longer in Jurong East waiting for me. Sorry.....
We left Punggol at 1pm because I had my afternoon nap, on our way to Jurong East mummy's handphone rang twice asking us if we're on our way.
The VIP finally arrived and being the youngest there I received lots of attention.I didn't talk much as I was so grumpy (all because daddy had to drag me out of bed to give me a shower). After some time I finally warmed up.
Mummy is pictures-crazy, must snap pictures everytime. So she took pictures of me and my cousins. Yes! I'm the only granddaughter.
We went to ma-ma's house in Tampines after that. I had so much fun playing Hide n Seek with dua-gu.
Video of Hide & Seek
When dua-gu was keeping the stools, we had an accident. One of the stool hit me on my left eye-bone. Thank goodness, it wasn't so bad as dua-gu quickly held onto the stool and moved back.
Video of me treating my knock
But I'm very happy today because I received alot of hongbaos.
We went home at 9+pm and mummy's very tired -skipped my lessons again. Yippee! If only everyday is New Year and if only everyday mummy's tired.

Reunion dinner

We went to paternal grandparents' place at 5pm for our reunion dinner with Aunty Aveliane, Uncle Vincent, Cousins Eugin and Laurence.
I didn't eat much because it was too early.
Anyway mummy packed some rice home for me and fed me in the evening.
Tomorrow is my BONUS day!!
Can't wait, I've been practicing "gong xi, gong xi. Xing nian hao." Daddy taught me another line "liang ge hong bao lai." Click to listen
Will it be DOUBLE BONUS then??

Jalan jalan day

After school, mummy brought me to Tampines Mall to walk around a little, wanting to shop another set of new year clothes for me, just incase I refuse to wear the cheongsam. (Anyway, usually mummy only buy 1 or 2 sets of new clothes for me for the CNY as we don't do much visiting at all)She finally bought a set at Cerisi. She also wanted to shop for her own as she has not tried out the top she bought online months back. She felt very tired (mummy is not her usual self) and decided to drop the whole idea. If she can't wear the top she still has another black dress not used yet.
Once we got home, I received yet another surprise from mummy.. She told me "mummy's very tired. I'm going to skip your lessons today." Yippee!! This is the best news I've received ever!! And boy did I have that freedom by playing and jumping on the bed and mummy just couldn't care less about me.
Daddy put me to bed. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Mummy don't want me????

Tracking back a little, on Wednesday mummy brought me to Raffles City for gai-gai after I made a fuss early in the morning. Mummy promised me she'll bring me home early and we'll go out.
When I saw mummy standing at the window at 3.32pm I was so happy. But Mrs Koh said I have to finish my bread first.
When we reach Raffles City, we walked around the card shop awhile before proceeding to relieve ourselves. I pee-pee first so when mummy sat down, I stood closer to the door waiting to open the door. Mummy kept telling me to stand away from the door and I can't open the door until she tells me so. I did! Mummy was .... okay, she had to quickly get up to close back the door. I did it the second time, this time round after mummy closed the door she beat my hand. It was so painful.............and I cried out loud.
I just don't understand why did mummy beat my hand. I was frightened and thought that mummy didn't want me anymore so I told her "I want mummy... I want mummy...." Mummy simply refused to talk to me or hold my hand - even when I've made attempts.
But soon mummy walked into a party shop and she bought me a balloon. When she asked me to choose the balloon, I didn't want to do so as I thought she will give me the balloon and give me away to someone. I just want mummy.
I had my eyes at the auntie blowing up my purple balloon while clinging onto mummy's legs (just in case she runs away). Mummy also bought a pack of balloons for sculpting- which she does horribly (ps. look at the dog. Does it look like one?)
After that mummy assured me that she loves me and she is very angry when I did not listen to her. I apologized to mummy and kissed mummy. The rests is history >>
I wanted to buy sweets from the supermarket, and after we checked out I told mummy I wanted to eat bread. I finished the whole bread at the B1 fountain -my favourite spot. We walked around a little in Robinsons and the shops, mummy remembered she needed to buy this biscuit from Marks & Spencer (she says its yummy) so we went up.
Perfect timing! Daddy called and we quickly went down to look for him. I don't know what was communicated between mummy and daddy but we went to the office tower to wait for daddy. I saw so many aunties and uncles coming down from the lifts but daddy was nowhere in sight. I was so tired and told mummy "no seat, I very tired. I squat... mummy you must squat then you won't be tired." Mummy told me "I'm not going to squat here. You can do it if you want." Yup! So I squat and sat down on the floor... the lift door opened and I decided to try my luck and shouted "Daddy", but it was a caucasian man. He said " I didn't know I am a daddy" and then laughed. Finally we saw Uncle Park and an auntie coming down and Uncle Park told mummy he's the last one in the office.
Oh oh................................................but we managed to find daddy after that..
We went to Cafe Cartel for dinner, then went back to Robinson to buy a big pillow for me. Then it's time to go home.

It's so nice to be back again

My back's facing the camera. We are doodling
Having skipped school for two days (as I was not well), it was so nice to be back to play with my friends.

Bookworm

I love to read. And I'll do this everytime I'm in our car.

This is my favourite book which dua gu bought.
Ps. And if you've noticed. Mummy have changed my carseat to this booster which we bought in the US

I like to use daddy's blanket

I like to use daddy's soft blanket. It keeps me warm and makes good cushion on the floor. Haha! Daddy screamed at me for doing that.

I did it!!

Can you believe it? I did this by myself.

I'm so proud of myself.

Things I love to do when I sit on daddy's shoulders

I love to sit on daddy's shoulders as I'll get to see things from a higher perspective. And I get to look down and mummy and tell her she's short.

What I love most are the things that I do.
1) Move my buttocks up n down like sitting on a horse
2) Hold daddy's ears
3) Tap my fingers in rhythm to music on daddy's head
4) Help him do a parting (mummy says it looks like I'm picking out hair ticks for daddy)
5) Make daddy's hair all stand up by sweeping both palms upwards

Presenting............... my room

Last night at about 9plus after we got home from ma-ma's house, I was brought to my room. At first I turned away and walked to the other room to find the bed. After a while I was used to my room and started jumping on the bed and looking into the drawers. Mummy hanged a Pooh pouch behind the door and I was pleasantly surprised to find my Powerpuff tissues; sunglasses and some bags inside.
Mummy and daddy asked where I want to sleep, and I told them I want to sleep in my own room. They were surprised, but mummy decided to sleep in with me just in case I'm afraid. But i was not afraid at all. Before my bedtime, daddy lay down on my bed and pillow damping my pillow. I was quite cross with him and told him to dry his hair, later I complained to mummy. I was on my bed and mummy sat down and I chased her away saying she hasn't taken her shower. Hee! I wanna keep my room tidy and smell nice.
Mummy got the pictures and video ready.
1st video
2nd video - next morning

Mummy found this on the website for me to play, and would like to share it with you.

Have Fun!

Events at Century Square

I was quite surprise when mummy didn't object last evening when I said I wanted to eat at Sakae. I had my usual one cup of chawanmushi. And I was standing up and kept looking at the conveyor belt for my salmon skin inari. When I saw it I was jumping up and down and asked mama and mummy to take it for me. Duagu had to finish the rice for me, mummy saw how much I loved it took another one for me. Then she ordered Miso ramen for me, I didn't eat much but next thing I saw, the bowl is dry - mummy drank up the soup.
Once we walked out of SSushi, I stopped by the kueh kueh shop and told duagu I want the 'wa gu kueh'. I ate 3 of the little ones.
Mummy stopped by Haagen Daz to have her sorbet and I was given a little treat from duagu's ice-cream. Mama brought me upstairs while mummy's talking to duagu.. mama bought popcorn for me.
Yes! I had been eating and eating non-stop. Wait till you hear this...........I could finish my 120ml milk when we got home.
After the ice-cream stop, we went into Metro's toys section. We left for home at about close to 10pm.
Strange.............how is it that I didn't get to see duakim??

San Zhi Jing

Mummy finally found the san zhi jing ,which I've been reciting two lines to her, on the web. She now understands what's the meaning of it.

Little Notes- Lesson 2

Top : (L to R) my colouring, the attendance sheet where Teacher Peggy will give us a sticker to paste on the circle circle
Bottom: (L to R) the remaining workbook, the ice cream;frog and fish

I had my second lesson today. Mummy said I didn't sing and do well in class. She also kept asking me "how is it that you can sing at home and now you don't want to sing?" Mummy has been giving me the Little Notes lessons everyday before my Glenn Doman session, so she expects me to do better. She likes Amanda because she's very responsive to all the songs, although she's younger than me.
We started our lesson by revising through what we did last week.
1) Touch your nose
2) Make your hands go clap, clap, clap
3) Let's play the sleigh bells/triangle/castenet (she was irritated when I refused to sing and make funny noise at the 4 beats and 2 beats at the end of each sentence)
4) Red apple/green froggie/yellow duckling/blue flower (this is my favourite but I didn't sing at all)
5) Ice cream (I was the only one with the ice cream that mummy made and I was showing off to my little friends)
6) Machine pony (I like this although I kept refusing to put in the imaginary tokens on mummy's palm)
7) Hot potatoes (I didn't want to pass the castenet to mummy...)
New songs we learnt today :
1) I am a fish
2) I am a frog
3) Train
4) Parade
5) Blow bubbles
After the lesson, I wanted to do colouring. But mummy said no.. I haven't been performing well. And she told me that from next week onwards she's going to bring stickers and stamps. She'll give me when I perform well and added bonus I can do the colour colour. Umm.... mummy's gonna go broke. $4 or $5 (if I take the cheapest) multiply by 6 months.
When mummy got home, she quickly made the fish and frog for me. Teacher Peggy asked us to bring chopsticks next week.. so mummy quickly packed in my drum sticks, chopsticks and lummi sticks into the bag. And set a reminder on her mobile to buy bubbles bubbles.

Reading..in the toilet

I think I'm following mummy's habits of reading in the toilet. Just today, I had a tummyache. I brought in a book to read.

I made such a big fuss........(9th Jan)

Just because a little of my right toenail has come off, mummy decided to cut away.
I made such a big fuss. And when dua gu came back, I thought my saviour is here to rescue me. Alas! I was wrong. Turned out he was the one trying to cut my toenail.. See my face in these pictures.
Finally dua gu held on to me while mummy cut for me. Meanwhile I was kicking and curling my toes. Hee!

San Zhi Jing

On Friday, I decided to show off to my dua-gu and dua-kim on the 'san zhi jing' I learnt in school. Dua-gu thought I was saying "liang zhi zhu, qu ba sha"- two pigs; go to the market. Everyone bursts out laughing - that's good as I managed to make the room more lively.

First lesson

My Little Notes at Yamaha commenced today. We made out way to Tampines Mall at 5 plus and my class starts at 6.30pm. At 6.15pm we were already in Yamaha but Teacher Peggy came in at about 6.35pm. While waiting, I saw 6 other friends who will be with me throughout the entire 2 terms and maybe again if they decide to join the next level - Music Wonderland. There's a little girl who's 1 month younger than me and her name is Amanda and another boy Galton. And I can't be bothered to look at the other children.
We were introduced to the 3 instruments in our Percussion Kit, they are the cantanet ( i hope the spelling right); triangle and sleigh bells. And teacher Peggy first played song No.4 "Let's Play The Sleigh Bells" and we have to hit the sleigh bells in beats of 4 after each sentence and a beats after the last sentence. It was the same for the cantanet and triangle. I enjoyed the triangle better, I didn't like the cantenet because I hit my own finger. Ouch!
Then we were given sheets and asked to colour the pictures at home. We sang and pointed to the songs No. 6 and 7. Mummy at one time during our playtime was a kiddy ride, I put 3 tokens on mummy's palm and she'll move me. I was really excited when teacher played the song Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I started singing and at one point started shouting loudly.
When the session ended 45 minutes later, we were taught a Goodbye Song.
Mummy felt that I could have responded better in class because I love music. She's wondering what happened to me because I did not perform as well as the other children, and had been clingy to mummy.

Playing with tennis balls

Today mummy happened to bump into me and my classmates as we were at the void deck playing balls with my friends and Mdm Qiu.
We would all stand in line and start throwing the balls at the letterboxes and pick up our own balls after that. We enjoyed ourselves and mummy had a camera in her bag so took snapshots of us.

My messy room

Pictures of my messy undone room. Mummy's too lazy to keep the plastic bags on the sofabed as in 2-3 weeks time my room will be completed and then she'll organize the room for me.

First Day in N2

Today is my first day in school as N2. Yay! Finally I'm older than some kids and can bully them. But I think I am suppose to hold the N1 child's hand when we go to the playground together now. Sigh... now I have an important task and cannot make the girl or boy fall down. Last year I can fall down and the N2 child gets told off.
Ms Ruth Leaw is no longer in-charge of my class. Ms Chan is in-charge of my class. She is very strict, all the children in school are afraid of her. Oh no................I'm in for a tough time. But will Ms Chan tie my hair for me?? Mummy likes the way Ms Leaw ties my hair.

A wild and wet time

Wet & Wild
Barney & Friends
In McDonalds

Daddy and mummy brought me to Wild Wild Wet yesterday. It's my first time there and it will not be my last.
I saw pictures of Barney almost everywhere, then I saw my favourite Baby Bop.
Luck was not on our side, the moment we entered Wild Wild Wet it started to pour heavily. So mummy took her sweet time to change me into my sexy bikini. By the time we all put in our things in the locker, the rain had stopped.
Our first stop was Yippee! but I was frightened and hold onto daddy's and mummy's hand tightly. Then we went to Yakult Professor's Playground which is just next door. At first I didn't like it but after the first slide I went down with mummy I liked it. And kept asking to go back to play the slide. There were so many slides in there. Then there are water splashing out from every nooks and corners. A few times we walked under a bucket and the che-che or kor-kor will pour the water down on us. It's so fun...
Next we went on the Shiok river. Daddy found me a small float and mummy let me sit inside and hold onto my hand as she walked with me. Daddy was far behind us and mummy held onto the wall to wait for daddy. We were finally reunited. We went around twice. The second time mummy went into a float and I sat on daddy's lap. Mummy was so slow... daddy had to wait for her.
We went to Tsunami but nothing happened. And while daddy and mummy were watching a syncronise swimming performance I told them that I wanted to pee-pee. We came out of the water.
We went back to the Yakult Playground again for the last time before making our way to take a shower. Mummy said my skin's all wrinkled up. Daddy promised me that he'll bring me here again.
We stopped by McDonalds for a break. I had my fries and a teeny weeny spoonful of mummy's leftover chocolate sundae. I saw the Barney's castle and wanted to sit on the car but mummy say it's too expensive ($3 for a ride) and we went off.
I was tired and asked daddy to carry me... next minute I was in dreamland.
I didn't know when mummy and daddy left for home but when I next got up, it was close to 9pm and I was sleeping on daddy's/mummy's bed.
