I've graduated!

I've finally graduated from Little Notes.

Come next Wednesday, I will start my Music Wonderland class. I won't be joining Teacher Peggy's class and it can't start with 4 students. So mummy have no choice but to put me in another's teacher's class. She hopes Teacher Peggy will have a chance to teach me my YJC thereafter.

Smile

Mummy submitted a photo of me smiling for her & now for Singapore.

It can be seen here

If you can't view it, it is on Page 70 of 71. Last check by mummy, it seems to have moved from the western part of Singapore to the eastern part.

Young Parents Fiesta

Mummy brought me to Marina Square today for the last day of YP Fiesta. In 20 minutes, we were out of the house. We haven't had our lunch yet and I'm beginning to feel a little tired. When mummy turned into the carpark, I remembered the place. I remembered telling mummy about "uncle leaving his spectacle on the wall"- painting of sunglass a week ago. So i turned to look for the spectacle again. It was there! Mummy asked me if I wanted to nap first or have my photo taken first. I told her I wanted my nap, but I was more interested in the event that is going on in the atrium. So mummy let me have my picture taken first. I didn't smile for the picture, so mummy said "no chance to be selected in Top 20. "
Mummy walked past the HSBC booth where an auntie asked if mummy wants to let me take a photo with me in a costume of my choice (eg. Snow White). But...... it takes 30 minutes to develop the photos and while waiting a Wealth Manager will speak to mummy. Mummy's not interested already.
Infront of the HSBC Booth was this HAMA Bead-making thing. I stood there and hoping mummy will ask me. She did and I nodded a yes and started smiling. It's not easy to make the one that I chose coz' it's so small but I've got to learn somehow.

The final product

We went for lunch at Sakae Sushi as mummy is hungry. I had my Chawanmushi, Salmon Skin Inari, udon and *burp*.

After lunch I was getting more sleepy. Mummy had to go back to find the subscription booth as she needed to renew her subscription. She asked me if I wanted the gift for myself (Strawberry Shortcake feeding set) or for Aricia. I told her I wanted to give a present to Aricia mei-mei. It was a Disney Baby thermal flask and warmer set. Uncle then gave me a box of Raisins, which I held in my hand until I fall asleep.

I was woken up when mummy was struggling to open the door to somewhere. Turned out she went into Atrium Deli in Pan Pacific Hotel to buy her chocolate cake and cookies again. If I had known, I would have kept my eyes opened and asked her to get me a cake of my choice (though I did steal a few bites of her cake). The next time she woke me up was when mummy was trying to ask me to climb into the car myself. But I refused, I slept all the way home until daddy carried me out of my stroller outside our main gate.

I showed daddy my work. And played with the balloon I have.

Mummy took another picture of me, she said "if only you smiled so nicely earlier on.."

Sunny Days, sweeping the clouds away

I went for my first Sesame Street Show - Out of This World - today. Well, it's time mummy brings me for a show coz' I'm big enough to understand what is going on. We arrived in Downtown East at close to 3pm, the carpark was full so mummy had to park at the adjacent carpark outside. In the centre of the lobby was a train ride with some Sesame Street Characters around it. As the ride costs $3 to go around in circles, mummy only allowed me on the cheaper $1 kiddy ride. We stopped by at McDonalds as mummy haven't had her lunch yet. I got my Snoopy toy and fries (again!) and mummy gave me the apple juice too! We went into the Marque at 3.45pm. Mummy bought the front row seat and quite centralised too. I noticed that there's a barricade after our row. Wow! I must have been one of those priviledged ones. Honker,Telly, Grungetta, Count von Count actually hugged me! Ernie just touched my hand.
The letter of the day was Y and the number of the day was 2.

I really enjoyed myself today coz' I finally get to see the characters live and I get to dance to many song. I like it when Elmo sings the Elmo's World song and Hokey pokey Song. The exciting part is when the confettis kept falling down... I picked up so many (to mummy's displeasure. But she didn't scold me coz' I'm just an innocent little girl). When we got back home, mummy gave me a plastic bag to put all the confettis inside.

Before going back home, mummy brought me to White Sands. We first went up to the library where mummy read me a book. Then we went to the foodcourt for food. Shopped around in supermarket before we left for home. Mummy bought me my favourite Oreo biscuits.

Ps: Conclusion. My favourite character?? Telly Monster and Zoe (because I told mummy I like Ballet). And I also found out ah-yi's favourite character - the Yup Yups.

Thank you mummy for bringing me to the show!

Day out with my MUM!

Today, mummy brought me out with her to see Dr Teoh. And she also told me that she's going to let me play at Pooh Pooh's playground. Photobucket - Video and Image HostingI am so excited.

Mummy and I played a game at the train station. She asked me "which train will come first", I pointed to the direction towards Marina Bay. Mummy sounded so confident of herself and said "okay, whoever lose must buy fries for the winner." And guess what? I won!!

I saw Aricia in the TV again. I heard auntie Wee Chee telling mummy that Aricia's hands are on both her ears. I want to talk to mei-mei, why is she doing that?
We left the clinic in less than an hour. It's strange, normally we had to wait very long. But I'm glad coz it means I can get to eat my fries soon.

It's lunch time, so mummy brought me to Mum's Cuisine. I remembered my Tiramisu cake from Spaggeddies and wanted it, but mummy said "later" and brought me to ELC. I simply love playing with the train set. Pictures of me inside ELC:

Mummy bought me this, hoping that I'll be a genius. Mummy please give me a break!!

Things she's still considering if she should get for me

We went to Takashimaya, I only managed to stay alert for awhile and then I dozed off. I don't know where mummy brought me to. Many hours later, as mummy was walking out of Books Kinokuniya was the time I woke up.

And what did I see? Mummy stopped outside a shop looking at her own things but I saw a train set on display. Mummy brought me in and I was playing with another train set by BRIO.

Mummy bought me a Puzzle Block hoping to make a genius. (again!!)I'm more interested in train sets so that Aricia can play with me next time.

I kept talking about the game we played and my fries. Mummy was getting a little frustrated and brought me to Centrepoint's McDonalds. When I was there, a few aunties from different tables kept looking at me. When they left, mummy made me say goodbye to them.

We went up to First Level and I saw the playground. Mummy said she needs to buy some things from Robinsons to let me enter the place.

The time came, and I got to play. Not before we step into Mothercare & Marks N Spencer for a while first.

Dancing

I woke up at 11 today, I was so tired after skipping my afternoon nap. So mummy decided to let me stay at home.

Since I woke up, I've been glued on Nickleodeon and I watched a few of my own VCDs.

Here's me dancing to Hi5.

18th - Aunty Kum Foong, Huixin & Wanxin 姐姐's visit

I have been waiting for this day since mummy told me Aunty Kum Foong, Huixin & Wanxin 姐姐 will come by to play with me after they last came by during the CNY.

I enjoyed myself today, I not only have 姐姐s to play with but also it means that mummy do not control me that much. I was given the freedom to eat all the snacks that she brought into my room for Huixin & Wanxin 姐姐. Although she did tell me not to eat so much but she's not in the room to supervise me....
She turned on the aircon on for us, and put in the Bible Songs for Kids CD for us. I did dance a little.
We played so much. The room was messy but mummy didn't scold me.

As mummy was not in the room, she couldn't video tape us. And she did not have much idea what we did in the room. She only managed to video-tape this. Click here

Aunty Kum Foong and 姐姐s were helpful in helping mummy to tidy up the mess. Mummy had to boil Barley for us to drink because of all the snacks we had.

Daddy & mummy ordered Pizza Hut but I didn't get to eat anything except the chicken. Mummy cooked porridge for me.

6 hours later, at about 9pm, Aunty Kum Foong said they had to go back home. I was very sad.
Mummy sent them to the train station, and I refused to say Goodbye to them. I am very tired and mummy asked me to go to bed. But I kept talking about 姐姐s until I went into the " Land of the ZZzz".

18th - HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Today is Father's Day - A day special for all daddies. I have no money to buy daddy anything but I made some things for daddy.
Ai yoh, mummy always like to take pictures of me. My arms' itchy
The heart-shaped bookmark was made in school.
The memo-pad was made at home with mummy's help

17th - Outing to Suntec City

Daddy and mummy brought me out to Suntec today. We first stopped for lunch at a HK Cafe.

Me & my daddy
Trying to pick my food with chopsticks. Not bad huh?
Mummy was reading an advertorial, and she saw balloon sculpting which will end soon and brought me up. But I saw a picture of a cookie making thing and told mummy I wanted to do that. I think mummy didn't pay attention to what I was telling her. I asked auntie for a flower while mummy talked to Auntie Isabella about the session. Mummy said she'll have to register me first and it will start at 5pm (whatever does that mean? I only know 'now! now!')

The flower balloon aunty made for me

We went upstairs and I saw a few children sitting down around two tables. First Aunty taught us about mixing colour. There were three colours on a palette and we were each given a small cup of icing. I choose yellow colour, then I told mummy I liked orange colour so mummy helped me mix red and I saw orange colour. Wow! I couldn't wait and told mummy I wanted to colour my cookie. Mummy told me to wait , it will come later. True enough, we were each given a pack of 5 cookies and more colours to do it. I finished my cookies faster this time round as I'm more experienced.
Mixing colours
That's what I've been waiting for
My work of art!
Did I tell you the cookies are nice??

Somehow somewhere mummy realised my balloon is missing. I was very sad and asked mummy to make me one at home.
We walked over to Marina Square and there was a competition going on. Umm.. why didn't mummy register me for the competition? But I'm glad she didn't coz' all the che-ches and gor-gors were 4 years and above. And they all were so smart to perform on stage. I would have been very nervous myself.
I played in the children playground for a while before we left for home.

I fell asleep in my pram. I only got up when daddy carried me out of my stroller into mummy's arms in the car. But I continued lying in mummy's arms. When we got home, I reminded mummy about my balloon. And she tried.
I was in the room with her, and I heard two "boms" (two balloons burst). Mummy's scared of balloons but she finally made one for me. And then she tried a sword and a dog (which didn't look like one)
That's my new flower balloon. Nice?

"Thank you mummy. I really enjoy myself today"

Yesterday, mummy brought me out gai-gai. I got up the same time as I would for school (papa asked mummy why so early. Then I heard mummy say "your daughter always dilly dally") Actually I got ready in less than half an hour.

What mummy dress me in, and the nice pleats made me look so sweet...
(but in actual fact I'm not sweet)

We took a train down to Somerset and reached there early at 10am. Mummy let me have my second breakfast at McDonalds. At 1020 we made our way up and already a long queue had formed. The characters came out at 11am, and one auntie behind was so kind to offer to look after my lousy stroller (as she saw pregnant mummy struggling to carry me to see). We went upfront for a while and then got back. In the 5th & 6th picture here, mummy decided to let me stand on my stroller to let me see. I can only see a little bit.
Our turn for picture taking came and it was so fast. Mummy asked me to shake hands with each character. And then she decided last minute to pose with me (coz'she scared I'll be frigtened & spoil the one & only shot permitted for each child) But I was not scared, I see them everyday in my room. Infact I was very happy and touched Eeyore and did a Hi5 with Tigger. The aunties & uncles kept wanting to step off from the stage but I'm just a little kid..... I came here to see my favourite Pooh Pooh. I didn't want to leave the stage area so mummy let me watch behind the "fence". I was so happy; smiling and kept waving to them (but I think they didn't see me). Then.. some time later it was really time to say goodbye. I said "goodbye"to them, I don't know if they heard me.

Yup! That's me & my mummy

Mummy took this as well coz'the 1st ones we took at Compass Pt was
quite blurry.Umm... I can put this in my room.

Walked around Centrepoint. Mummy went into the Party shop wanting to look something for me for my party. Then I saw balloons. I showed mummy where the balloons are but she was teasing me. She knew what I was thinking and soon I had to admit to mummy that I wanted a pink coloured heart-shaped balloon. She got me the balloon. I'm one happy child!!But a tired one too............ almost going into Pooh Pooh land..........

I have no idea how long I slept (mummy said I slept for almost 3 hours) but when I woke up mummy was in Spageddies. I saw mummy rubbing her tummy and talking to ma-ma (I don't know when ma-ma came also) "I had my main course and now I want to try the Bruschetta which is so big" - but she finished it anyway. Nope! I didn't eat in Spageddies coz' I'm a cheena-girl remember?? I only go for rice and chinese noodles...
But anyway, ma-ma ordered Tiramisu which I tried and liked it. I asked mummy to buy me another one. But mummy said "next Tuesday I'm coming back here. I'll buy for you."

Tiramisu

The basement looked familiar and I remember.... I told mummy "mummy, I want to go ELC." Mummy brought me to ELC and ToysRUs, and she bought something for me from ELC. After some time we took a stroll down to Plaza Singapura. She told me Barney is here but she can't get the coupon coz only 20 coupons are issued in each session. And that there's only 1 session she can bring me. I almost forgot about Barney until....
We met daddy there. Went for dinner in the foodcourt and then I heard Barney singing. Mummy saw my "puppy looking eyes"and brought me downstairs to see. I managed to see my favourite Baby Bop. Then we quickly made our way to the 2nd floor to get a closer look. I was singing & swaying to some songs. Then I waved goodbye to Barney & Friends. They didn't see me.(sob sob)

But other than that, I had a good time today. Thank you mummy!

I'm crazy about Hi-5 now

I have been asking mummy to buy me another Hi-5 VCD, which she did today.

Then she asked me who's my favourite amongst the 5, I told her I like Charli and Kathleen.

Mummy saw mw dancing to the music and said "If I had known, I would have brought you for the Hi-5 show instead of Sesame Street".

You think she will get me the whole VCD collection??

Our holiday

Daddy and mummy brought me to Bali on Thursday, coming back on Sunday.

They told me it could be my last holiday for this year, as the arrival of my mei-mei will make it difficult to travel this year. It's a consolation too, because we had two long holidays last year instead of our usual - one long; one short. So we made it up this year.

Here are some photos

Tang Poems learnt in school

I have learnt a few more new Tang Poems from Qiu 老师. When we were in Bali, mummy explained to me the meanings of the last poem I've learnt. Reason being, Qiu 老师 now do not explain to us meanings of any poems we learnt - only when we're in K1, K2. But mummy's managed to find meanings through the internet (you think her Chinese that fantastic meh??) Hey! Mummy's learning too, you know? She never knew all these.

Anyway, the last poem I've learnt in school :

锄 禾 日当 午,
汗 滴 禾下 土,
谁 知 盘中 餐,
粒 粒 皆 辛苦。

Translation : This poem is wrote by an poet in the Tang dynasty. The poem expressed the pities he felt for the farmers. In the hot noon, the farmers worked under the shinning sun, every sweat dropped on the green field, every single rice contains the hard work of the farmers.

春曉

春眠不覺曉, 處處聞啼鳥。
夜來風雨聲, 花落知多少。

Translation : A SPRING MORNING

I awake light-hearted this morning of spring,
Everywhere round me the singing of birds --
But now I remember the night, the storm,
And I wonder how many blossoms were broken

相思

紅豆生南國, 春來發幾枝。
願君多采擷, 此物最相思。

Translation : ONE-HEARTED

When those red berries come in springtime,
Flushing on your southland branches,
Take home an armful, for my sake,
As a symbol of our love.
