新年快乐

18th Jan (Sun)

Happy New Year!
Mummy prepared these small mandarins for me to give to my teachers and my ma-ma's.

In the morning, we went to Jurong ma-ma's house. I kept eating the guava slices until mummy stopped me.
Then gu-gu; gu-zhang and my cousins came. I didn't talk to them, I was very shy....

Me & my cousins and gu-zhang
After our early lunch, we went to the same place to pick Uncle Richard up. Uncle Richard gave me an angpow too. He also gave me these chocolates which comes with a Snoopy stuff toy, told mummy it's from Aunty Leila - so who's Aunty Leila?? How come mummy know so many people?
Oh.... so Aunty Leila is Aunty Irene's (Uncle Richard's wife) sister. She lives in Chino, LA. Mummy met her way way before; many years even before she married my papa (and obviously I was no where in sight). Coincidently she works for SIA as well, ground staff in LA. So they clicked (ai yah..my mummy very talkative; ah pek she also can talk to ). Oh well.. mummy says if they decide to fly to the West Coast again for a holiday, they will definitely meet up with Aunty Leila; Uncle Mike; Che-che Melanie and Che-che Mylene. Suddenly, I feel I have a large extended family!

Before I meet the extended family, let me extend my stomach first. I'll finish all the chocolates by myself.
We went back after some time to let Uncle Richard rest. I brought out all my toys to show Uncle Richard.

We then went over to Tampines ma-ma's house. I get to touch Ignatius di-di again. He's so quiet, I'm beginning to like him better than my mei-mei (who is so naughty and noisy)

19th Feb (Mon)
It's lazing around day. Nothing much except that Uncle Richard is going to the airport today.

In the morning, daddy & mummy brought him to Jalan Kayu for my favourite Roti Pratas. That's my favourite - tissue prata!
Hey! Don't touch mine!!

20th Feb (Tue)
Another lazying around day. Today, daddy said he's going to bring us out for a movie. Yippee! Any cartoons on screen now??

After our lunch, we were walking out when we saw a lion dance troupe about to perform outside one chinese restaurant.I was so afraid of the loud noise.

Walked around before and after the movie, then we headed back home. I was really tired. Mummy's tired too from the blogging. That's it for now. Ta-ta

Victoria's birthday party

I simply love birthday parties! I love the food;pinata and cake.... and not forgetting my friends! A long day today didn't deter me from attending Victoria's birthday party, as this is the only time when I can go crazy and enjoy myself. Although I didn't eat much before we left the house, I wasn't hungry and took only a few spoonfuls of bee hoon and fish. I was more interested in colouring.(ahem.. now I can colour slightly better - inside the lines)I spent most of my time colouring and playing until it's time for Pinata. We were smarter than the adults - even before they put the pinata up; we knew where the flap is and peeped into what's inside. Umm... I think I saw some jellies....
The group is smaller now so we're more organised and could even take a photograph together before we start fighting over the treats.
Aunty Helen is helping out again. What is my useless mom doing? Why can't she help? Oh ya... she's taking the photos for me. And then we pulled the Pinata string. I'm an expert in this now! (mummy apologises for the blurry video - she thought she could have accidentally pressed a button on her camera causing the random blurring effect)

Need I explain more? Of course when the treats dropped, you pick them up.

After picking up the treats, we played with the confettis; throwing it at one another. Mummy was our target a couple of times..it was so fun!

My friends - can you guess who is it?

Elizabeth : in checkered top
Amanda : in white top
Victoria : in yellow dress (holding balloon)

After playing and throwing confettis, we soon had to cut the cake.

Children gathering around the table. This time we sang the birthday song and Victoria & another blew the candle. Thank goodness, the naughty boy - Adam was not there!

I got my cake and started eating it. Mummy said she didn't even realise when I got the cake (yah! she was busy talking!!)

After eating 2 pieces of cake, Amanda; Elizabeth & myself started running around the room. We were panting and really tired.

Then it's time to say goodbye to everyone. I had such an enjoyable time. So... I wonder when's the next birthday party? Alexandra's?

Post Party : It is late (close to 9pm when we got back home). I'm smelly wet, mummy wants to give me a quick shower & put me to bed...but I just want to play.
What I picked.. alot of confettis to do Art & Craft
The favor bag & contents
My colouring
Although I am tired (for exhasting myself the whole day), I still wanted to play with the confettis
1, 2, 3.. throw!

I was abit surprised that mummy didn't stop me from messing up the floor... until she took the small broom and asked me to sweep up the mess. Poor me! Had to work so hard after a party. Anyway, I put them in a plastic bag so that I can play again tomorrow and perhaps another tomorrow?

A new addition to the family

I have been looking forward to being a che-che again, as I can bully the two small babies. (Yay! Big sister RULES!!) And so I was told that dua-kim gave birth on Thursday. I was angry with mummy for not bringing me to see dua-kim and di-di (apparently my mei-mei saw di-di before me). Today, we left the house early to visit dua-kim and my di-di cousin. I am very happy to see him and he gave me a present. I wanted to carry him; stroke him and kiss him the moment I saw him... he's so cute.... but let me play with my dua-gu first.
As for Aricia, the 2 little ones had their funny moments. Read my mei-mei's blog.

I guess I shouldn't say anything more, the pictures tell everything.

My favourite uncle

Mummy told me last night that we're meeting Uncle Richard again, so I asked her to wake me up early.
We left the house early and I am so excited to see him again. I wonder where daddy & mummy is bringing me to.

At the restaurant, I wanted to sit next to Uncle Richard. With such a request from mummy, I was willing to feed myself.
Here are the nicest photos of us mummy can find

Uncle Richard was showing me the photos in his camera when mummy took these
I wanted to hold Uncle Richard's hands. Mummy managed to get some natural shots of us. Alot of times, I kept looking at Uncle Richard - he looks just like Santa Claus.

Uncle was thirsty and he needed to get a drink. I asked to follow him. Here I am, waiting for his drink.
So cute!
We walked around alot and I was so tired that I slept in the stroller. We bumped into Aunty Helen; Uncle Mike and Amanda in Chinatown too!

We then left at around 5pm to bring Uncle Richard back to his hotel. Mummy said Uncle will be staying with us soon. I can't wait... mummy says we haven't got any bathtub for uncle so I need to let him use my Pooh bathtub.

Why is it that the weekends usually end so fast?

My uncle Richard.. er.. where's Kiki?

I remember Uncle Richard.. I remember his cat and his house where I had so much fun. I didn't know mummy is meeting him, without me, today until I started crying. She had no choice but to bring me along. And I did promise her I'll be a good girl.

We took the train down.. and I was so happy mummy brought my colouring book that I started colouring in the train.

Mummy first brought me to Sakae Sushi, without me asking her, to eat first. I had my usual food.

We walked around a little before meeting Uncle Richard at the hotel lobby. I also met another new Aunty Dolly. They had a late lunch, I took a few mouthfuls from mummy's main course but was still full so I continued my colouring when they were talking. I was so tired that I fell asleep.
Mummy woke me up and we walked and there were 2 kor-kors & 1 di-di there. I was the only girl there so was very shy. They run and played while I chose to sit next to Uncle Richard & mummy to do my colouring.
After that Aunty Dolly & Uncle Jino had to leave, so it's only mummy, Uncle Richard & me. We walked to Millenia Walk to Candy Empire. Mummy promised to buy me some things there. I was so excited. We walked around the small mall, and I wanted Uncle Richard to hold my hand. I like him..
Then it's time to say goodbye. Mummy said we're meeting again tomorrow and I can't wait.
After we sent Uncle back to his hotel, and while walking towards the train station. I told mummy I want to play in the small playground at Kiddy Palace awhile.
