Travelling on a jet plane

Mummy and daddy say I am very fortunate having travelled so much. As what mummy says, I started travelling at 7 months old, a Frequent Flyer. And I've been to at least one city in almost every continent. Almost! Not entirely!

South Pacific
Australia - Sydney (that was my first trip when daddy had to work)
New Zealand - Christchurch, Dunedin, Te Anau, Queenstown, Punaikaki, Rotorua, Wellington (I remember this trip very well. It was really fun as daddy drove with mummy planning our itinery. Tampines ma-ma went with us too! I love the adventures)

Asia
Indonesia - Bali (that time mei-mei was in mummy's tummy)
Thailand - Bangkok, Phuket
Hong Kong
China - Shanghai, Hangzhou,
Malaysia - KL (can you believe it! I get to travel to KL at such a young age but mummy only went there in 2006 when I was in her tummy. And don't forget my mummy used to work in SIA)

Europe
Switzerland -Lucerne, Interlaken, Zurich, Bern, Basel
Germany - Munich,
England - London
Austria - Vienna, Salzburg

USA
East Coast - New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Washington DC
Canada - Niagara (crossing the border at Niagara Falls. But hey! we really need to produce our passport ok!!)

This year, we flew off to China in June and Korea in December.
Both countries have their uniqueness, although I don't really like China and prefer Europe and America like mummy but mummy says we need to know our Chinese history. Yah yah! I tell you half the time mummy don't understand what's going on too!! I made friends on both trips.
I did enjoy Korea coz' it's cold. And mummy hates it coz' half the time she'll be nagging at us to put on our coat, our gloves etc.. and I don't like it. And if I rebelled, she'll insist it'll be the last winter trip for me. Ahem... as if it would be coz' I know mummy loves to spend a white christmas.

My Birthday!!

Mummy gave me a birthday party, as she always does. Mummy always threatens me with "no party next year/ this year!" and I didn't have to do anything she'll grant me a party. Wow! There's certainly magic somewhere!! I had a fantastic time this year. Not that I never did the previous years but it was really something different for me. This is also the second time I had my party held outside of our house.

I also get to select my invite list. And mummy did say I had to keep it small to 12-13. I did! I couldn't wait for my party to start, I had no idea where it was to be held, I had no idea what was going on. All I knew was my grumpy mummy trying to prepare my birthday stuffs while busy with me and mei-mei daily. And mind you, she only had 6 days to do everything this time round. I'm simply amazed how much mummy can accomplish in such a short time.

Click here to read her preparations for my party.

I was admiring the nice decoration the uncles and aunties did. It was so beautiful! I wish mummy can do this at home, I heard mummy saying that too. But we do not have enough space. Sigh... how I wish we live in a big big castle. Then it was time for them to make me look like a Princess.

Since it was a small party, mummy said that it'll be a waste to order a cake so she baked them
The goodie packs mummy prepared plus balloons given by the party place

At the end of the party, Aunty Kelly read out the rules of being a Tiara Club Princess. And officially we graduated. Mummy gave us a card each in replacement of the temporary card that was given earlier with the invitation cards
I'm so happy today!

Making cards - 22nd June

Last year, mummy had a playdate for my LCCC friends last year making Teacher's Day card. This year she decided to do the same again as there will be problem fighting over our small oven. It was definitely more comfortable when we were in our study room. Turned on aircon, a good way to hide in the room.

We're lucky that we had a long table top in our room for 7 children (including myself). Oh yes! Did I mention that we did a minor renovation in our 2 rooms? And living area? I looked forward to this day and any day that mummy plans a playdate for me.

Snacks and drinks prepared for my friends
Healthy snacks vs junkfood
Mummy ordered pizza for lunch, so that Aunty Zet didn't have to cook and use the time to help tidy up the kitchen. My friends streamed into our house slowly. We played first before lunch.
S playing with mei-mei's Pluto
Mei-mei joining in the fun. But she's too small and we don't include her in everything. I don't understand why mummy is so upset with me.
After lunch it's - CARD MAKING. Mummy prepared alot of things and each of us have to make 3 cards each for our teachers.
I prefer this spot here, it's so much brighter

I managed to do these two cards first. Mummy said for me, I'll have to do more cards for all my teachers from LCCC, JXC, LWSC, Berries etc... So we can do it slowly.
While we were finishing the last touches to our cards, mummy got Aunty Zet to bring out the snacks. This cute jelly is sponsored by Aunty Youli. Thank you, Aunty Youli!
So beautiful right? Mummy wondered if she can try to attempt this cartoon jelly one day.
Snacks! These were the snacks that the kind aunties brought along. They shouldn't coz' mummy did prepare alot of snacks for us.
Continue playing.
Part 2 of our activity. Making chocolates. Mummy said this group is too big, we can't do colouring - which will take alot of time and ... we need alot of brushes (which she don't have)

Thank you mummy!

Bakings 2010

Mummy hasn't been baking for us this year. It seems like she's more busy with me (ahem.. my schoolwork) in the day time.

I really liked that horse cake I asked her to bake for me and said I wanted it for my monthly birthday celebration. But she didn't do it.

I can't remember when exactly mummy stopped celebrating for mei-mei and me every month. Too much sweets and it certainly don't bring out the real thrill on our yearly birthday every-year!

Mummy too, hasn't been able to do much baking for us too.

However, mummy did find time to enrol me for classes. Which I DID enjoy coz' mummy won't be paranoid when I didn't do this or that carefully. Or make a mess in the house.

This year, mummy enrolled me for bread- making class on 14th June. It's really fun because I don't get to make bread with mummy, she says I can't knead the dough. I did prove to her that I can do it. Hopefully next time, she'll let me make bread.

Mei-mei is allowed in (thank goodness!) and so I didn't have to babysit her.

Chef June is so funny. She saw the way I knead my dough asked if I helped my mummy at home. I told her no.

I can't wait to show mummy the bread I made. I'm so proud.

Oh no! Why did it have to end so fast?

Eating my bread.
On 15th June, we're back at the same place. This time with my friend, S. Mummy signed us up for pasta-making. Not as interesting, coz' I don't like this kind of pasta.

Thank you mummy!
