27th December (Wednesday)

I have been a good girl today, I didn't start crying and telling mummy I didn't want to go to school. Infact, I think the pontang-ing did me good yesterday.

Anyway, today mummy picked me up much earlier, she was all dressed up and told me that daddy is meeting us outside. I thought we were going to Punggol Plaza but mummy just drove and drove far far away... then I saw we were going to Dr Teoh's clinic and asked mummy. She said no and I continued guessing, then I asked "Plaza Singapore?" Yes! We were going to Plaza Singapura.

We walked around the shops, I was having fun running around. And then I wanted to sit on this rocket kiddy ride outside the food court.

It's the long holiday..

Although it's the long holiday, my holiday began since Thursday when I pontang school again. Anyway, there isn't any lessons and mummy said it's going to be my last time pontang-ing school - I'll be K1 next year.

We went out for lunch with dua-gu, dua-kim and ma-ma. Where do you think we ended up? In Sakae Sushi again lor............ but they don't have my Salmon Skin so I had to make do with others. Well, I had alot of mummy's udon that she hardly ate anything herself. And I ate alot of things after that, so much that daddy had asked me to stop eating myself fat.

After our lunch, we walked around Century Sq a little before I followed dua-gu they all to another place. They brought me back home to Punggol after that for dinner.

Christmas

I woke up this morning to see the Milo and cookies missing, leaving behind the plate and a note from Santa. Wow! He actually came! And I had my bag filled up with some chocolates, sweets & Cocopops. You mean they have Cocopops in North Pole?

Anyway, mummy told me there's a small celebration in my house. Duagu, duakim and everybody is coming over. I am so excited because today is Christmas Day! I saw so many presents under the Christmas tree and I can't wait to open them.

First, I had to do the cupcakes. Luckily, I didn't have to do many.
Nice or not? I wanted the Snowman and I chose the once & only purple colour cream.

It is now 11am, mummy said she has to go to collect the log cake. But in the end, daddy went so mummy showered me & mei-mei.
Jurong ma-ma & ye-ye came first, but we haven't got much food on the table yet. Why a celebration with no food?? Then Tampines ye-ye came.
Anyway, after a long long time everybody (ma-ma, dua-kim, dua-gu & ah-yi) finally came with so many food. They brought along a fruit salad, mee siam, KFC.

I don't eat alot of things so mummy cooked porridge for me. And when I finished my porridge I asked dua-gu to play with me but they were beginning to start eating. I played my Lego and we build it very high up. Then it dropped! Haha! So funny.....

After that I went to open my presents. I always looked forward to this. All I had to do is to look for my name : A T H E N A
I received gifts from Yishun ma-ma also.

Mei-mei has some presents too, she don't know how to open the present so I helped mei-mei.

Soon, all the presents were all opened and we sang a Happy Birthday song to Jesus with the logcake.
It is ice-cream logcake. So nice... I'm coughing away but mummy allowed me to eat a little.

At the same time, daddy opened a bottle of champagne. I can't drink otherwise I will talk incoherently.

After that, we had the cupcakes. I helped myself to my Mr Snowman.

Then mummy asked me to ask everyone to take a piece of paper from the bowl, and I helped them to bring out their small little presents from under the tree. Mummy almost forgot me. So I did the smartest thing by opening up all the papers and I was so smart to choose the biggest present. Everyone laughed at me for cheating. This is not cheating, it's called SMART. Everyone is tired now. And they went back home after some time. Mummy spent some time taking our photos. My mei-mei so cute hor? Read her blog here


After that we all went out for dinner and I asked daddy to buy me a pair of high-heel shoes.

In the night, I asked mummy if I could leave some cookies & milk for Santa but she said "No, Santa's resting now."

Christmas Eve

Daddy brought us out to Orchard Rd today, but I did not get a chance to go to Paragon. It then started to rain but mei-mei and myself were sheltered by the stroller.

Daddy wanted to buy me a pair of jeans because he said all my jeans are very short now. But we didn't find anything suitable until much later in the night.
There are so many people around Orchard Rd today.

Throughout the window shopping trip, I was in the stroller most of the time. Sometimes I have to carry mei-mei, attracting looks from many aunties & uncles.

Mummy bought me a bubble bubble. I am so happy.

We then had our dinner at Breeks, I had my Fish & Chips there. So nice.

We left Orchard Rd after spending a long long time there. On our way out, we bumped into xiaogu and her family.

Well, I had an enjoyable day today. Tonight, mummy asked me if I wanted to leave milk and some cookies for Santa - I did! And I asked him for some sweets, chocolates and presents. Ohh... I can't wait till tomorrow. Good night mummy, daddy, Aunty Zet!

Celebration in school

This morning, mummy let me wear my party dress to school. Mummy told me I have a celebration in school today.

The celebration started at 10am. We all gathered in our assembly place and played some games class by class.
N2 Joy (my class) played "Pin the Snowman". We had our eyes blindfolded and we're suppose to pin up eyes, nose, mouth etc... on the snowman. I was given the hat to pin. Haha! The snowman is so funny looking.

Throughout the day in school, we didn't study much. We had some singing too.

Soon, the day came to an end. Mummy came for me in the evening and tomorrow I won't be going to school.

Today marks the last lesson for the year, and also my last lesson with Teacher Jasmine. Teacher Jasmine will be going to stay in Australia next year and I am so sad , coz' I really like her.
Next year I will be in YJC and I can learn to play a little on the Electone.

We performed in a mini-concert for our parents. Daddy surprised me by coming down to see me perform.

Then we were given our certificates and we had a little celebration - a chocolate cake from Teacher Jasmine and some sweets from my friends. Mummy bought the Ovalteenies for my friends.

I was jealous & went to sit next to daddy on the Electone and started to bully mei-mei.When mummy, daddy & ma-ma saw me doing that; they weren't pleased at all.

Then it is time to say goodbye to everyone. So long, Teacher Jasmine I hope you remember me.
See you Elizabeth next year we will be in the same class. As for Amanda, she will be attending Friday's class.

My Concert

This morning, ma-ma was getting me ready to go to school; chasing after me to eat my porridge. I think I woke up much earlier than usual leh....... and by 7.30am I was already in school.
Ms Chan did our make up, Mdm Qiu tied our hair and then we were so noisy and playing around. As usual the teachers will be screaming at us.. and they look tired themselves runnign after us. Should tell them "if you think you can't wake up do early then next time don't make us come to school so early lah!

The bus took us to the same church. We were so happy, especially me - I hardly take the bus.

During my two class performances, I was the only one blooping the thing.
For the Korean dance, I almost tripped on my hanbok. Then, my headband dunno why keep covering my eyes. But it's okay, I enjoyed myself on stage.

After the concert, mummy and daddy stood outside to pick me up. I saw my friends and enjoyed hugging them.

I love to bully my mei-mei. So cute hor?? Best thing is she don't even know I'm bullying her, and still can laugh.

Mummy didn't let me go to school today. Instead she told me she got my friends over at our house for some decoration. Ay... I thought our christmas tree is already up?? So what decoration?

I was so happy that when they stepped into the house, I brought my friends to my room and showed them my toys. We brought out the toys to the living room and messed up the whole place.

Then we started with the first decoration thing : CAKE

There were 4 plates on the table with a slice of dunno what with 2 teaspoons & a pack of tissue each. I saw so many colourful things on the table. There's smarties, dinosaurs, flowers, flowers, raisins, big bowl of chocolate. * sweets * Whoa! This is going to be fun I thought.

Aunty Helen helped us by spreading chocolate on my cut cakes. I did a star, a flower and later mummy cut a funny shape for me. I saw my friends pouring as much things into their plates and I can't lose out, so I put in alot more. At the same time I was munching the smarties and a pink coloured chocolate Aunty Helen brought along.

I also helped with her bear bear cookie cutter. Picked the sides for her and wanted to throw it away when mummy screamed "No......can eat. Don't waste!"

We went back to the room to play again. This time with my Playdoh. I also can cook what!

We then had our lunch. Aunty Zet fried some bee hoon for us. Aunty Helen asked if I needed to cut my noodles but I declined the offer.We were still having fun with the toys when they called us out again. This time I saw something different - COOKIES

I did this before so I was doing it very slowly. In the end, I only did 3.

My friends ran back to my room again, I wanted to join them so we played with my puzzles and building blocks. Still messing up the whole room. Wow! Strange?? Mummy didn't scream at me.

Next and last session was : CHOCOLATE MOLDING
I like to do this and have done this before many times with mummy. Aunty Helen asked us to choose one plate each but I wanted to share with Amanda the Hello Kitty and Elmo. We were singing along to a made-up song and let the chocolate drip. Mummy didn't scold me at all, usually I hear her voice from the beginning to the end of the session. I just let the chocolate drip and drip. I licked the chocolate off my spoon as well.

We ran back to play again, this time we used Aunty Zet's room.
All of us also wanted to go into Aricia's baby cot. We brought in alot of toys and played in there.
Once we were out of the cot, we played and ran around the house screaming.
Lastly, we played nurse nurse. Victoria is sick so we tended to her.

It's so fun, I hope mummy will ask my friends over again.

My favourite Aunty

came by to visit me today. I kept asking mummy why is Aunty June so late; so slow. When mummy said it is raining where Aunty June stays, I told that it's not raining in our place.

Mummy asked me to take a nap but I wanted to wait for Aunty June until ............. I fell asleep.

Yay! Aunty June is here and she played with me. Then she chatted with mummy; played with Aricia. "Nobody talk to me...."

Cate Lin is 4 today

You know I hardly attend any children's birthday party, so when mummy had two invitations today - one to a Malay wedding and another to Cate Lin's party - she chose to let me enjoy myself.

As it is, I haven't recovered from my cough (from taking too much sweets during my birthday party and 2 days after that) so mummy's worried about my cough getting worse after this party.

Daddy didn't want to go at last minute, so mummy and me left for the party. Mummy drove down to a far far away place.

Two other friends were there when we got there. Immediately I was attracted to the chocolates and rice biscuits on the table. I helped myself to some, of course asking mummy for her permission. Suprisingly, mummy said yes.
Finger bites were served, I don't eat pizza so I had some sausages and lots of tidbits to fill me up.
I was very shy with the other children, it took me a long time to warm up and play with them. I was only interested in balls and bubbles, so joined them for these. While they played others, I ran back to mummy - only to be urged to go & join the other kids again.
Finally, the highlight of any parties - Birthday cake. The cake looks different from what I usually see and it's filled with the warmth and love of their family - handmade by Aunty Angela, May Tia and Cate Lin.

Aunty Angela was so nice to ask me which is my favourite candy and I pointed it out to her. I ate my cake.. enjoying every bite of it. After our cake, we had three games indoor. 1) Princess says : It's something like Simon says. I didn't play this game because I don't dare to go up and line up to do what Princess says (coz I'm the Princess). The last one standing , the winner, gets a present. 2) Passing the parcel : the music stopped and it was in my hands. I got a chance to open up the present. In it, I was asked to do what is written inside - Show how a flower grows - I did it with the help of May Tia and I get to keep the gummy inside. The final one.. was the real present. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to keep it. 3) Freeze song : you dance and dance and stop when the music stops. Slowly one by one will be eliminated and the winner gets a present. I didn't play this too.. coz' I'm shy. I would have definitely won in this. After that I went outside to play with the other children. I was getting comfortable with them already while mummy stayed inside and talked to the other aunties. We were all tired and came back. We all got a balloon each. Mine was a white Pooh balloon. A girl and me were playing outside when her balloon burst. When I played mine later, it burst too! Mummy screamed. There were some uncles (Uncle Ray Sun's colleagues - pilots in SQ) sitting there and they laughed at mummy. Aunty Angela then gave me another blue Tigger balloon to blow up at home. I was already getting very tired, because I didn't get to nap in the daytime. We left at 6pm for home. I was really tired that mummy woke me up a few times but .......

As long as I'm not in school

I am happy as long as I am not in school. I haven't been to ELC for quite a while, so I got to play inside with Aunty Zet. Mummy sat at the Caffe Beviamo outside relaxing with mei-mei.

We then went for lunch. I was tired and fell asleep, all I knew was I was being pushed around. And by the time I got up we had already taken the train to another place for a movie.

It is mei-mei's first trip to the cinema. I haven't been a good girl in the cinema, I kept asking mummy for sweets and she was angry that I was more interested in the sweets rather than the show. At one time I went to play at the steps and mummy is not at all pleased. Although it was dark, I could see mummy's eyes turning scary RED and quickly went back to mummy. I got a scolding from her after that. I think I was making mummy angry more than making her relaxed and happy during the show. I got scolding again and again, and she asked if I was interested in watching the movie. If not, this would be my last movie!
I did watch a little here and there. Somehow at the last 15minutes of the show I fell asleep.
Oh no! I think mummy's made up her mind in not bringing me for movies anymore.

We walked around PS. Mummy remembered she had to buy me my books for my YJC next year. We then had our dinner, bought some things from Carrefour and walked towards the taxi stand. Mummy saw the long queue and being so impatient decided to book a cab. I got a whack on my buttocks and a scolding again before the cab came - I ran to the small little road to stand and look at the approaching cabs. Our cab finally came and that's the end of my outing today.

Today, daddy and mummy brought me, 妹妹 and Aunty Zet to Orchard Road. I had been a naughty girl, throwing tantrums and they almost left me alone at home. In the car, I kept asking for mummy. But when we were turning into Orchard Road, immediately I stopped my whining. We stopped by at some place for Kaya Bread. And then we walked to John Little, mummy & daddy wanted to buy some clothes for me. However I was not interested in clothes but toys. They kept asking me to try the clothes but I refused and kept running away. In the end, they got so angry with me that they bought clothes, diapers and baby wipes for 妹妹 instead. Mummy managed to take some photos of me posing with the Baby Looney Tunes stuff toys.
She then passed by a shop selling hanbok. Again, I was not interested but was more interested in the sofa in the shop.

We then walked over to Centrepoint.
I saw the Santa Train Express and wanted to sit on it, but mummy said I could sit on it if I buy some clothes. But I don't want any clothes! So I could only watch from upstairs.

We then walked to Sakae Sushi (Heeren), there was a long queue so mummy bought my Salmon Skin Gunkan and we dined at Billy Bombers. I was so happy and finished everything very fast.
